Red Light
The red light stimulates a skin rejuvenation and anti-inflammatory prorperties. The effect on the skin by enhances cell function and cell proliferation. It expands the synthesis of collagen and activates the microcirculation and lymphatic system. It helps to stimulate and hydrate. This increases circulation in the skin giving a boost which reduces fine lines.
NIR The near infra-red light has a powerful anti-inflammatory effect. This quickens the cell and tissue repair and release of growth factors. This wavelength works well with the red light to produce collagen and elastin. It treats rosacea, redness and psoriasis. Not only that it helps conteract the visible signs of ageing. It helps skin damage by reducing fine lines and wrinkles.
In our Cheltenham Clinic we use the demalux for many treatments. I use to for rosacea and acne over many weeks for best results. LED can also be used following Botox ™️ or filler treatments if for example there is redness or a bruise. LED light will speed up the healing process and reduce the effect of the potential bruising.
